Copyright / IP Complaints
1. Introduction Hermetic Arts, also referred to as Hermetic Arts, respects intellectual property rights and expects users of the platform to do the same. This page explains how to report suspected misuse of copyright, trade marks, branding, or other intellectual property appearing on or through the platform. Unless otherwise stated, the platform is operated by IAF Tech Development. The Hermetic Arts brand and certain associated intellectual property are owned by IAF Design. 2. What This Process Covers This complaints process may be used where a person or organisation believes that content or materials available through the platform infringe rights such as: copyright trade mark rights branding rights image rights confidential proprietary material used without authority other relevant intellectual property rights This process may also be used to report suspected misuse of Hermetic Arts branding, platform identity, or associated protected materials. 3. Information to Include in a Complaint To help us review a complaint properly, please provide as much relevant information as reasonably possible, including: your name and contact details the name of the rights holder, if different from you a clear description of the material or rights you believe are affected the location of the allegedly infringing or misused content, such as a URL, profile, listing, post, or other platform location an explanation of the basis of your complaint any available evidence supporting your position a statement that the complaint is made honestly and in good faith We may request further information where reasonably necessary. 4. Review Process When a complaint is received, Hermetic Arts may: review the information provided request clarification or additional supporting information temporarily restrict, remove, or hide content contact the relevant account holder or party involved take other steps reasonably necessary to investigate and respond We are not required to take any particular action unless and until the complaint is sufficiently supported, but we may act on a precautionary basis where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or legal compliance. 5. Potential Outcomes Depending on the circumstances, outcomes may include: no action where the complaint is not sufficiently supported request for modification or clarification removal or restriction of content warning to the user involved account restriction or suspension repeat infringement measures referral for legal handling where appropriate 6. Repeat or Serious Infringement Where there is repeated, deliberate, or serious infringement or misuse of protected material, Hermetic Arts may take stronger action, including suspension, removal of access, or other legal or operational measures where justified. 7. Good Faith Requirement Complaints should be made honestly, accurately, and in good faith. Submitting knowingly false, misleading, abusive, or bad-faith complaints may itself be treated as misuse of the platform and may lead to action under the platform's legal or policy framework. 8. Brand and Platform Protection Unauthorised use of the Hermetic Arts brand, logos, platform identity, distinctive presentation, or other protected materials may be addressed through this process or through other appropriate legal or operational steps. 9. Contact Route Copyright, branding, and intellectual property complaints should be directed through the official legal or rights-contact route made available by the platform.
